Private i has been one of the top salons in Hong Kong, with branches in Central, Tsim Sha Tsui and Kowloon Tong. Now, their concept store has just newly opened in Causeway Bay, breaking the barrier between humans and their pets by making the store pet-friendly.

Calling this two floored store of 8,500 sq.ft a salon is an understatement because it offers not only grooming service for pets and humans, but also one-stop pet services beyond your imaginations. “We want to bring pet-friendly concept into our everyday life. There are not enough places where pet parents can bring their pets to. We want to create a delightful experience which let pets stay with their owners so they both enjoy a great time together!” Yvonne Ang, the Director of Private I Concept Store and an active animal welfare volunteer, explained the idea behind the pet-friendly concept store.

This softly lit corridor in contemporary design opens up to the main area for pets on the second floor.

Retail: Its retail section offers a range of lifestyle pet products, high quality gourmet, supplements, toys, daily supplies and more.

VIP rooms: While you are pampered with hair treatment, you can rest assured your pet is being groomed and taken good care of right next to you in the same room. Available upon advanced booking.

Swimming: Indoor pool fits 6 small dogs or 4 large dogs (over 10kg) to swim at the same time. A veterinarian on-site will check the heart condition of the dogs first before a swim as a thoughtful precaution.

Swimming: With self-service shower and blow dry area available, towels and shampoos are complementary to use. Swim jackets are available for rental.

Grooming & spa: Dog spa service for maximum relaxation.

Day care: Well-groomed pets will be placed in this check-out / day care room while patiently waiting for pickup by their hoomans.

Veterinary services: Powered by Pulsevet, a range of veterinary services including consultation, vaccinations, blood test, urinalysis, dental services, ultrasound and etc, are provided. Dr Wendy Ng was on site the day we visited.

Party area: Pets can roam and play with each other. You can rent it for your own party.

Pet art: Tasteful pet related paintings by multi-disciplined artist, Leon Lollipop, are all around to immerse yourself in the art.
