3 dog-friendly activities these two weeks. November has never been more exciting – it’s time to get your four-legged friends and other human friends out there! Here’s the line-up!

Peak to Fong Sponsored Walk

This fun and meaningful event becomes a yearly tradition organised by Hong Kong Dog Rescue. An easy downhill walk from the Peak Galleria to Lan Kwai Fong, where food, drinks and a variety of booths and activities have been laid on to entertain both two and four-legged guests.

Admission tickets take form of T-shirt purchase at the price of $250 (adult) and $220 (child), while dogs are free to go. The T-shirt is the ticket. All the money raised will go towards the upkeep of their huge Tai Po Homing Centre which is home to hundreds of rescued HKDR dogs as well as their Centre at Ap Lei Chau and, of course, saving more lives. Participants will need to wear their T-shirts, and can receive a free doggie bag of goodies at the end of the walk!

Sai Kung Stray Friends Foundation

Paws for Xmas BBQ

Hosted by Sai Kung Stray Friends Foundation, the BBQ party at their new adjoining land site will involve food, soft drinks, alcohol, children games, a live jazz band and more. All the proceeds will go to building new fencing enclosures for the 100 dogs+ waiting for homes to get access to exercise area with some grass safely. More details? Click here to their event page.

Time & place: 12:30pm – 4:30pm at No. 151 Tai Lam Wu, Sai Kung Entry fee: $100 (adult) and $20 (child at the age of 15 or below). Pay at the door.  

Paws Hero

One Step One Paw Running

Paws Hero will join hands with a creative community group Hong Kong Harbour Runners to bring you and your four-legged friends a good outdoor running session. To hang out with old friends and meet new ones, participants get together at the North Point ferry pier and run at whatever pace you want from there.
