【HK Island Guide】Dog-friendly cafes and restaurants

  • Sharing is caring

We want to go enjoy a meal or snack with our furry family members without compromising on food quality! The question is where. We mean those which are spacious enough, make us and our dogs feel welcome.

Understanding how difficult it is to find these rare gems, our hunt starts on Hong Kong Island. We round up 13 favourite choices and pay a tribute to these lovely places which embrace dogs as a part of our community (we know how precious semi-open outdoor space is).

*Dog-friendly policy can be changed anytime at the discretion by restaurants and how “friendly” the restaurants varies. Hellodog is not responsible, affiliated to, or can guarantee if the restaurant you want to go is still “dog-friendly” at the time of your visit. You are recommended to call and check with the restaurants in advance of your visit. We welcome anyone to inform us if a restaurant not longer welcomes dogs, so we can help keep this list updated for your convenience.

A wider range of food selection than a usual sports bar is definitely a plus. From over ten appetizers, sandwiches, salads, soups, to proper filling meals and desserts, the menu makes a casual dining experience enjoyable, though we would avoid going at night with dogs because it gets crowded as the night falls with live sports games.
