On 13 – 14 April 2019, non-profit Hellodog Foundation hosted a fun-filled pet-friendly carnival, Hellodog Fest 2019, and gathered thousands of dog-loving people at Nursery Park, West Kowloon Cultural District to celebrate our love for dogs regardless of breed, age, color, size, with or without a home.
The happenings of the 2-day carnival was exciting! From runway show, one-on-one massage sessions for dogs, dog behavioural workshops, pet healthcare talks to music show, fun augmented reality (AR) game, cruelty-free handmade soap workshops, play & learn sessions between kids and dogs, face-painting, dog adoptions and more. Everyone who came love it!
Sarah Li, the founder of Hellodog Foundation elaborated her goal. “Too many dogs left unloved, abandoned, killed. Too few people overcome the superficiality – breed, age, colour, etc. My hope is to cultivate true love within every one of you that helps you see through the beauty of different souls. That’s why this carnival, the first of many to come, aims to bring out its theme ‘born unequal, but love conquers’ this year, while guarantees a great time for dog lovers!”
